This is a wonderfully put together, lightly experimental album of ambient music par excellence from Triosk's Adrian Klumpes. The main meat of the album is formed by using pianos... melodic pianos, dissonant pianos and all pianos in between. To accompany these delicate sounds are a range of processed and manipulated tones and textures that sit beautifully around them. Soothing and occasionally challenging, the overall feeling is serene and lush. References are there, certainly, and include Eno and Budd, but essentially this ploughs its own furrow and is quite unlike anything else I've heard this year so far. Lovely.
